Observaciones:
Tufted low growing perennial. Ligule membranous, c. 1mm long, truncate with a mucronate central tip. Blades folded in shoot. Leaves glabrous, margins inrolled and scabrid. Anthers purple, glumes 1/3 longer than the lemma. Lemma 4 or 5 nerved.
